Daddy Time

These past few months have been a totally new experience for us. In the last 8 weeks Logan has almost been away more than he has been home. Although these days have been in a nutshell extremely trying they have also been a blessing.

Each time Logan is away I hear my boys pray for their daddy. I hear little voices ask their Heavenly Father to protect their earthly father. I hear their adoration for Logan when they say things like, "I wish my dad could spend one day in the tribe and one week at home."

Each time Logan is home I see the excitement on their faces every time daddy walks into a room. I hear lots of laughter and giggles as they ride bikes, go for walks, have tickle fights, and play video games. I see pure joy in their eyes as daddy spends this special time with them. I hear love in their prayers as they thank Jesus for keeping daddy safe and bringing him home.

I am so thankful that in these hard times, my Father in Heaven is able to show me these little glimmers of hope. In the moments I am ready to give up I am reminded of these three beautiful blessings!
